New Space!

Dave and Rene have been busy! We are pleased to announce the grand opening of our new studio.  Although we would rather do all of our photography outside, our indoor studio will provide an element safe  area for newborn sessions, school pictures, and winter alternatives (for those of you that like keeping warm!).  Please contact us to book your sessions!

Two weeks ago David photographed the Bailey 100th Annual Family Reunion.  This weekend we had a family wedding reception.  We are also planning our own celebration-so we will finish editing pictures and add samples later!  But for now-this pretty much sums everything up :)

We're BACK!

Firstly, we'd like to officially apologize for being terrible at this blog thing!  We will do our best to be inspired by the wedding season and start adding some more samples, information, stories.

In early May, David got some great shots of baby Johnny's first birthday/cake smash.

After Johnny's party we headed to VA Beach!

David was graced with the opportunity to photograph a fun and energetic couple on the 17th of May.  Here are a few of our favorite shots!  (Honestly, it was very difficult to narrow this down!)

I love how a photograph can give you a sample of how fun a couple can be.  We wish you, David and Eileen, the best of luck in your years to come!  Thank you again for letting us be a part of your special day.

David's also spent a lot of time doing individual and event photos for Hillside Children's Center, due to privacy regulation we cant share any of them.

Firstly, we'd like to welcome you to our blog.  The blogging world is a new experience for us, and we hope you will allow us some time to figure out how this all works!  Now for a little background…

        Photography has always been an enjoyable pastime for our lead photographer, David Mitchell.  David has been formally doing photography for over 15 years.  He’s photographed weddings, sporting events, family and individual portraits, landscaping, advertisements for local business, and birthday parties.  David started Mitchell Photography in 2003 after photographing a wedding for a friend.  He enjoyed having the opportunity to help people hold onto their cherished memories.  While bringing his experience and artistic vision, he does his best to listen to his clients and make each photography session as unique and genuine as possible.  David is always up to new challenges, and does his best to work with the client and their needs.

Mitchell Photography is a family owned and operated business.  We work together to provide our clients the best service possible.  Even our daughter, Adele, has helped!

When David is not taking pictures he is spending time with his family or working at a local residential facility for teenagers. He shares his love for photography in both areas by teaching the skills he has acquired.

This morning we were blessed with the opportunity to photograph the new addition to the Rokosz family.  Only a few weeks old and already in LOVE with the camera!  Little Marina stayed awake and happy for almost the entire time.  She certainly made it easy to get some great shots.

We especially like this picture on the left as it seems to encapsulate what parenting really is!
